Her Story
Dr. Amita Saxena founded The Healing Compass with a deeply personal conviction: that every person, no matter how burdened, carries within them the capacity to heal.
With over 12 years of clinical experience across hospital settings and private practice, she has worked with hundreds of individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship distress, and the quiet grief of not feeling like themselves.
Her approach is neither clinical nor cold. It is warm, rigorous, and deeply human a blending of evidence-based methods with genuine compassion for the whole person sitting across from her.
Her Philosophy
Dr. Saxena believes therapy is most powerful when it is collaborative — when client and therapist work together as partners, not when one person holds all the answers.
She draws from multiple therapeutic traditions not because she lacks a core, but because she understands that people are complex. What helps one person flourish may leave another feeling constrained.
